Schauer Angus, owned by Bryant and Doug Schauer, hosted a big crowd on a fairly nice day for their annual bull sale. The Schauer cow herd is bred to be very maternal, with a lot of influence from Leachman Right Time, Pine Creek Traveler 1147, and Connealy Dateline.
Beyond breeding better cattle, customer satisfaction is their No. 1 priority. All you have to do is listen to a few of their good repeat buyers to see why they keep coming back. . The Schauers are well-respected, and most of their bulls are sold within an 80 mile radius of home.
The sale was a very rapid, competitive auction, with only two bulls selling for under $ 2000. . This year the Schauers also brought an outstanding set of two-year-old bulls, and they were very easy to sell.
